There’s no way to make more money, no do-overs. For example, if you create a tool that isn’t needed by the customer by mistake, that’s it. However, some things are obtuse to the point that it breaks the game. Admittedly, a lot of the content is intuitive and very accessible. The key issue is the game assumes that the player will inherently know everything about this game from the start. Where this game sadly fails to meet the mark is with its onboarding and its tasks for the player. Although it isn’t anything that will blow your mind, we really can’t fault the presentation of this game at all. Plus, the animations and sound effects are perfect and well implemented.
The textures are simple and bell-shaped but it suits the setting. The dynamic weather and day/night cycle is lovely. Plus, the art style is commendable considering the budget nature of this title. Plus, the building mechanics although intentionally rather clumsy are still very simple to understand and navigate to make your customers tools and weapons. Crafting order after order at as leisurely a pace as you choose is a cathartic experience. The concept for the game is great and is rather relaxing when you get into the swing of things. The game has a lot going for it on a base level. In short, this game tries to tick a lot of boxes and it certainly checks a few. While it also has order completion aspects similar to Overcooked and a laid back format that is more in line with games like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing. This game plays rather like games with obnoxious controls and mechanics such as Surgeon Simulator, Table Manners or Octodad: Dadliest Catch. My Little Blacksmith Shop runs with this idea and puts you in the shoes of the town blacksmith, where you will go about your day completing orders and honing your craft. Without a trusty, well-crafted blade and shield, you were asking for trouble. This is why a blacksmith was such as esteemed position within the medieval communities. However, if your tools let you down in battle, no amount of skill or bravery will save you from being chopped to bits by your assailants. I will continue to foster the needs of the community and create something that they will enjoy in the foreseeable future.Įventually, I want to add modding support for the game so that players are able to add their own variations of weapon/shield/armor parts, clothing, etc.You can be the most fierce warrior in the land, have laid thousands of your foes to rest and honed your craft with a blade since you were merely a boy. “The community is why this game is where it is today. How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process? “On release, the game will be priced slightly higher but will remain affordable relative to expectations.”
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access? A cave and town to visit and a few puzzles to solve.Build shelves and crates to organize your inventory.Move the location of your workstations to help optimize your workflow.Level your character and spend skill points to increase your efficiency.Combine metals into alloys for more variety in your creations.Combine up to 10 different variations of grips and guards to complete your weapons.Fashion these ingots into Blades, Blunts, Axes or shield components like hand enarmes, shields bosses, rims.“The game currently contains the basic form of blacksmithing. What is the current state of the Early Access version? Character Progression and customization.“The final product should look like this when completed:
#MY LITTLE BLACKSMITH SHOP PS3 FULL VERSION#
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version? I want to polish this title before getting it out.”
If need be, I might extend the date needed to leave Early Access. It will also allow me to continue implementing multiplayer. The time will be spent, optimizing, and adding all the features necessary for the base game. “I am aiming to get this out of early access by 2024. Hopefully, with the support of the community, we can continue making this game into something special and fun for everyone.”Īpproximately how long will this game be in Early Access? Finally, after everything has been added, I will be moving on to optimization, killing every bug and issue that has been reported. Of course, during the process game-breaking bugs will be fixed and things will be tweaked so the game is playable. The game is being offloaded with features that are missing and what the community has requested. Right now, naturally, the game will contain a lot of bugs. With Early Access, I am able to deliver on that promise, fully develop the game to utilize the Steam platform features, and complete the game.
Players have been wanting this game to be on Steam for over a year now and it's about that time I delivered. “There is a long list of features that are still not implemented in the game.
